Physical Education – Inspiring all to fitness, fairness and fun
At Victoria Primary School, we believe strongly that children should have a comprehensive and progressive physical education curriculum that places an emphasis on developing a wide range of physical capabilities whilst also encouraging healthy competition and teamwork. We aim to equip all our children with the skills, knowledge and physical experiences that will motivate them to lead active, healthy lifestyles and continue to participate in physical activity and sport throughout their lives. We aim to give all our children the opportunity to experience competitive sport by planning and taking part in school and interschool events such as football tournaments, triathlons and cycling events with other schools in the Keighley Schools Together group.
“You have to expect things of yourself before you can do them.” Michael Jordan
